Elmer loves to stand out from the crowd and what better way to do it than with beautiful sparkly patchwork. We think you’ll agree he looks gorgeous!

Deb Robinson loves sparkles and will stick sparkles to anything that stands still long enough – so beware! As a dancer that has been working with spectacular sparkling costumes for over 20 years, Deb has a passion for spreading sequins and diamantes to fellow dancers wherever she goes. Reflective light delights her. Deb painstakingly applied approximately 36,000 rhinestones individually by hand in order to make Elmer’s famous patchwork sparkle, see if you can find a love heart sparkle amongst them! Deb’s artistic practice involves bringing joy to public spaces, having previously created a very sparkly penguin for Pop Up Penguins and more recently working on the ‘Yarnarchy’ yarn bombing festival in Ōtautahi.
